Sleeping Rock — Muskoka Landscape

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 24" x 36" x 2"

It is the early hours of the day, Mother Nature is still asleep on the lakes of Muskoka.

I am strolling along the shores waiting for the island to awake.

Another study of tonalism on a landscape painting, in which I used unifying hues

to create a sleepy mood.
